To understand the whole scenario towards finding a better analysis, I have explained each factor separately so that you can get the proper understanding and have clear ways to decide what is the best option for your gaming experience.
My general advice when selecting RAM speed, while building a custom PC or shopping prebuilt best gaming PCs is to aim for 16GB DDR4 RAM with 2400Mhz speed that fits into your budget without splurging on top speeds if the price gap is too wide.

Generally, having faster RAM on a computer, makes the processing speed faster. They have tested the RAM speed profiles on games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Far Cry 5, and Wildlands which are released a few years back and do have the graphical demand with resolutions if played on high screen resolutions.
